How it works
Six easy steps to your new home
1. Sign up
Create your personal account and pay your annual fee of 300 kr. You start accumulating queuing time as soon as your fee is paid. To apply for an apartment, you will need to provide information about your housing situation, your income and any complaints that may have been filed against you. You can then easily see which apartments you are able to apply for.
Co-applicants:
Are you two adults who are looking for an apartment together? By linking your accounts together before you register your interest in an apartment, your combined income can be added together to meet the landlord’s requirements.

2. Find an apartment and register your interest
Search among all the available apartments and register your interest in those that suit you best. You can only apply for those apartments for which you meet the requirements.
Tip! Set up a watchlist (Bevaka) in your personal pages (Mina sidor) and you will receive an email when an apartment matching your needs is published.

3. Attend a viewing
Once the deadline for registering interest has passed, applicants with the longest queuing time will be invited to a viewing of the apartment. Digital viewings may also be offered in addition to regular viewings, but there are some apartments that are rented out without any viewing.
Mandatory viewings:
Some landlords require prospective tenants to attend a viewing. If you are not able to attend in person, many landlords will accept that you send a representative.

4. Confirm your interest and verify your income
To confirm your continued interest in an apartment after a viewing, you must verify your income and other details in the Mina sidor pages on the website. Confirming your continued interest is binding. If you are the first applicant for an apartment that you have accepted (by confirming your continued interest), all other expressions of interest in other apartments are automatically deleted.
Withdrawing your interest following a viewing does not affect your chances of getting another apartment.

5. Checks
To ensure that you meet the landlord’s requirements, we will check your details and documents and request a credit check. We may ask you to provide supplementary documents if anything is unclear. If you are refused an apartment because you do not meet the landlord’s requirements, you will be informed of the reason why.

6. Sign the contract
If you are the applicant with the longest queuing time and you meet the landlord's requirements, the landlord will be sent a proposal recommending you as the new tenant. The landlord will check your accommodation references, confirm the final approval and invite you to sign the contract.
